Moroto district Local Government Development Plan III is the third Five-year Development Plan running from FY 2020/2021 to FY2024/2025. The plan is in line with the National Vision 2030 and aligned to the Third National Development Plan (NDPIII). All the programmes in NDPIII that are implemented in Local Governments have been adopted or adapted and relevant outputs planned for. This plan has a resource mobilization strategy taht encourages all stakeholders in the development process to contribute resources towards attaining the set objectives and development goals. Resources can be shared as full basket support or Off-Budget support and all planned activities be integrated in the Annual Workplans and Budgets. The plan also has a monitoring and evaluation framework to promote joint evaluation of results and ensure value for money in resource utilization. Midterm review of the development plan is undertaken in the middle of the 5 years of implementation and this is to be done independently through a Non-Governmental Organization. Partners are requested to fund this review whenever the timeline is attained.
